A Journey from Naples
'BreadSprout originated from one vision: to offer authentic Neapolitan pizza in Madrid. The Romano family opened the doors to our small establishment in 1985, where family heritage recipes were our foundation.
Marco Romano, our patriarch, mastered the pizza craft in her Italian explorations, particularly with experts in Naples, where pizza was first imagined. Upon her UK arrival, her goal was to bring true Italian pizza to life, using methods passed down through the ages alongside the best ingredients available.
From an initial cozy venue with just 12 seats, we've expanded into a cherished neighborhood gem, yet our dedication to excellence and originality remains intact. We continue traditional wood-fired oven baking, prepare our dough every day from scratch, and prioritize premium ingredients.
The 'BreadSprout' legacy continues under the watch of the Romano's second generation, as we lead a team fuelled by enthusiasm. Though we’ve adopted modern enhancements, our essence is unchanged: crafting sumptuous, genuine pizzas that bring individuals together.
